Meet the Team
Mike Bougourd
General Manager
Michael has worked for GO since 2019, starting as a supervisor at Longue Hougue and currently is the Deputy General Manager overseeing established operations to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Previously, he worked in child protection and worked with offenders on a one-to-one basis on their offending behaviour. He also trained as a Restorative Justice Practitioner.
Michael's knowledge has proved invaluable, as has GO's approach of supporting a diverse section of Guernsey's population in their efforts to gain purposeful paid employment.
Outside work, Michael has a healthy interest in anything with an engine. He owns a Triumph motorcycle, (the love of his life) and is renovating a 20-year-old campervan in his spare time.

Annette Bichard
Office Manager
Annette has spent over 35 years within the Guernsey Finance industry in Operations Management, Accounting, Fund Administration and various Project Management roles. Throughout her time, she held several volunteer roles at various charities and feels it is essential to give something back to the community. Annette came to GO initially to manage the accounts but quickly became enveloped in the charity and agreed to manage the day-to-day office role part-time.

Carol-Anne Fordyce
Training Manager
Carol-Anne is a Scotland native with more than 20 years of experience in delivering training. She volunteered with the Children's Hearing System in Scotland for four years before working as a Family Support Coordinator for 15 years. Her job involved supporting families in crisis with young children. During this time, she obtained her qualification in Training & Development.
In 2018, she relocated to the Cayman Islands and lived there for five years. During her stay, she managed an emergency shelter and walk-in centre for individuals affected by domestic abuse. Along with that, she also conducted regular training and awareness sessions for various agencies, including the police, government staff, and other local charities.
In 2023, she fell in love with island life and decided to move to Guernsey. After arriving there, she briefly worked with the Child, Youth and Community Tribunal before joining the team at GO. She is excited to help those she is working with to achieve their goals and develop new skills.
