Meet the Team

Mike Bougourd
General manager
Michael has worked for GO since 2019, starting as a supervisor at Longue Hougue and currently is the General Manager.
As General Manager, he oversees all established operations, ensuring efficiency, smooth workflow, and team success.
Previously, he worked in child protection and worked with offenders on a one-to-one basis on their offending behaviour. He also trained as a Restorative Justice Practitioner for Guernseys prison.
Michael's knowledge has proved invaluable, as has GO's approach of supporting a diverse section of Guernsey's population in their efforts to gain purposeful paid employment.
Outside work, Michael has a healthy interest in anything with an engine. He owns a Triumph motorcycle, (the love of his life) and is renovating a 20-year-old campervan in his spare time.

Alfie Ellis
Marketing co-ordinator
Alfie has worked for GO since 2021, starting as a zero-hour Saturday staff worker before taking on his current role as Marketing
Co-ordinator.
He manages the upkeep and creation of the website, Facebook and social media posts, posters, TV displays, and contributes to marketing strategy planning.
Alfie studied Creative and Digital Arts at the College of Further Education, achieving a Merit grade UAL qualification, with a focus on digital media, photography, and marketing composition. His creative background and digital expertise play a key role in ensuring GO’s communications are engaging, clear, and impactful.
Outside of work, Alfie can usually be found either immersed in a good video game during the colder months or enjoying the warmer months swimming and capturing the world through his photography.

Georgina Smart
Training co-ordinator
Georgina joined GO at the start of 2026, bringing her background in mental health and creative therapeutic practice to the team. She is a qualified Arts Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Support. She now serves as Training Co‑Ordinator, supporting colleagues and trainees through structured learning and development opportunities.
Previously, Georgina worked across a range of mental health services, helping individuals explore their wellbeing through artistic expression and resilience‑building.
Her training and experience have equipped her to work with diverse groups, and she is passionate about making both therapy and training accessible and meaningful.
Outside of work, Georgina spends her free time painting and getting outside, whether that’s enjoying the island’s coastline or exploring new walks.

Annie Le Moigne
Training supervisor
Annie joined GO in January 2026 as a Training Supervisor and plays a key role in supporting trainees throughout their journey.
She provides day‑to‑day guidance, moral support, compassion, and care, helping trainees build confidence, develop essential skills, and make progress toward addressing their barriers to employment. Her patience, organisation, communication skills, and understanding make her a steady and reassuring presence for those she supports.
Before joining GO, Annie was a full‑time mum an experience that strengthened her resilience, empathy, and ability to nurture others, all of which she brings into her role. Her natural warmth and supportive approach align closely with GO’s commitment to helping individuals move toward purposeful paid employment.
Outside of work, Annie enjoys spending time at the beach, being with her family, and, of course, shopping.
