Celebrating National Volunteers Week

We’d like to take a moment to celebrate National Volunteers Week and say a heartfelt thank you, not only to the incredible, selfless individuals who volunteer with us, but to volunteers across all sectors.

Every day, people give their time, skills, and compassion to support those less fortunate and in need, and that generosity does not go unnoticed.

Our volunteers contribute so much to the work we do here at GO. They bring with them valuable life experience and skills, helping people from all walks of life rebuild confidence, develop new abilities, and take steps back into employment.

From general sorting, books, and inventory, to sales, shop layout, and supporting our public events, our volunteers play a vital role in almost every area of what we do, and so much more.

We are incredibly grateful to have such a dedicated team, and couldn’t do what we do without them.
